What the world can
Offer me.
Give me ears so I may hear
My parents', friends'
Constant cheer.
Give me a nose so I can smell
The red, red rose the
Vendors sell.
Give me a heart filled with compassion
So I may love and start a
Chain reaction.
Give me a conscience, loud and strong,
To help me determine right
From wrong.
Give me a chance to help the children grow,
To learn and blossom and show what
They know.
Give me courage, to do what's right
To take a stand and know never
To fight.
Give me wings so I may fly
Past the moon, the stars,
The sky.
Give me a chance where I can show
You made me wonder,
With your questions and your thoughts,
How do I say, "I love you?"
Those words now sound cheap.
Like they are not enough
To remind you that
My love for you is real.
You asked me,
"Do you love me?"
How can I answer that
Without sounding fake or insincere?
Of course I do!
Your smile, your laugh, the way you speak.
Your eyes, your hair, the way you make me feel
Just by holding my hand.
So many things make me love you.
How about how much you love music?
How I could sit there forever listening to you play?
How you love languages as much as me?
There's no one like you anywhere at all.
You are you and you don
Everyday is the same routine for her,
Trying to be a mature young adult,
But inside, only a child,
Small and alone,
All on her own.
Desperately trying to finish
Her chimerical requirements,
Yet longing to spend time with her friends.
Drowning in an agony unexplained,
Fear, turmoil, nerves, relentless stress,
Each day, mounting, never fading,
Dragging her down in a spiral
Until she hits rock bottom
In this lonely pit of despair.
She's struggling hard.
Trashing about,
Internally screaming,
Trying to pull free
Hopelessly looking for a way to get out,
Climbing high walls as smooth as obsidian glass.
The agony mounts,
It hurts
I'm bleeding,
But you can't see it.
I'm bruised and battered,
But there are no marks to prove it.
You can't stand to be near me,
How do you tink it feels to be me?
you think I'm immature and imperfect,
I guess that makes two of us.
I am smothered, dying, without life,
But you fail to care.
I am a flickering, too dim candle
In the midst of a raginghurricane
Threating to die.
I have a lot to tell you,
Too bad you never paused to listen.
You think its all my fault
And I never try to solve my problems,
Or anyone else's,
You have no idea how hard I try.
You think I'm a lost cause,
How about cheering me on?
You fail to see
Jus
If no one will help me,
What will happen to all of my dreams?
If no one will save me from the roaring sea,
Will I drown?
If I can't smile,
Will my friends leave?
If I can't see,
Will my world disappear?
If I frown at war and depression,
Will it grow and spred?
If I keep asking questions,
Will anyone answer them?
An unsettling feeling crept through the air.
Evil is near but not on the ground.
Creeping through ally ways,
Flying around the towns.
Its coming closer, ever closer.
Hearts start to pound,
Children start crying.
What is this haunting nightmare?
A loud silence fills the night sky.
The young ones are waiting for this mysterious thing.
Lights go out,
Children hide.
It will do no good.
The unsettlieng feeling is growing stronger.
Monsters will rise,
As kids close their eyes.
Even the playground bullies are filled with dread.
Eyes peer over covers
Watching for the night time prowlers
That come out at dark.
I didn't know,
I didn't mean to.
It was just a little shove
But it ended a person's life.
It was her own fault,
Walking to close to the edge.
All I did was touch her.
I thought she would be okay.
I was wrong.
The boys all laughed.
She screamed, then fell silent.
I crept over to the edge
And looked down.
Her body was sprawled
Like a sleeping person in a bad dream.
This wasn't a dream, it was a nightmare.
The sad thing was that it was real.
I still balme myself.
That day, walking too close to the edge, killed my best friend.
Even you're not perfect.
You walk around like the ruler of this place
With your hair done up,
Lipstick smeared on,
Telling everyone what to do.
You think that you're the most perfect thing in the world,
But hey,
Even You're Not Perfect.
You're not all that.
You can act it all you want.
You can act sexy and think that all the boys are yours.
Get pissed off if someone else has boy friend.
You think that you're queen and everyone is your slave,
Bowing down to your every whim,
Doing everything that you command them to do for you.
Guess what!
Your Not All That.
You're not perfect
And you're not all that.
You're a regular person

Take away my joys
Take away my love
Take away all that I have
Leave me with nothing but pain and sorrow
Kick me while I'm down.
Laugh while I'm defenseless.
Take away what hope was left
Take away my sunshine
Leave me left in a moonless night with nothing but the shadows
Laugh at my dispare
Laugh while I am crying
Cut into my heart and leave only agony
Don't cry for me
Instead drown me in abuse
Over and over until I'm nearly dead
Don't feel guilty
Remember I'm not important
Take away my laughter
Leave me in tears
Take away my smile
Leave me with a frown
Take away the sparkle in my eyes
Leave nothing but a black emptiness
You cry and no one seems to hear,
You shout and no one hollers back.
Your comments go unheard,
Your pain is something of a joke to others.
You feel like a ghost amongst your own kind.
You're lost in a world you thought you knew.
You are scared, lost and hopelss.
First to you it is precious
The next second thou hast no reason for it.
Thou appears to hold it higher than all else
I knowest that it is valuless to you.
You act like you're one way,
Bending yourself
Molding yourself
To fit others needs,
Taking shape to become something fake.
You strut about
Like you have something unique.
But in truth you are nothing,
In truth you have nothing.
You have no idea who you really are,
For you are no more than everyone else.
You have not a thing of value,
But that of which all posses.
You are devoid,
Devoid of all that is needed,
Love, passion, joy, and caring,
For thou hath never truly tried
Your mistake:
My life.
You put me through your pain and my own,
Then you gave me up to another,
Just to save yourself.
What was wrong with me?
Was I too much like you?
Just leave me alone.
You scream at me.
For what?
Because your job sucks.
You chose it not me.
Your tear me down till I have nothing left.
I know no one at school who will help me get back up,
Because you took them away too.
Now all I have are the pieces of my broken heart and a couple of half-forgotten old memories of my life.
I am now a peble in your path,
And you have no clue who I am or why I am standing there crying.
I was thrown out like yesterday's trash and was and still am as important as that.
Kill me now
Stop this pain.
My hurt will kill me soon.
Cast out my demons,
Please make me your own.
Sculpt me, mold me,
But don't hurt me again.
Tell me you love me
But when your through,
Don't leave me stranded
Else you send me to Hell's Doorway.
Punch me.
Bruse me.
Rape me.
Hurt me.
I will not kick and scream.
Do it over and over,
Kill me yet again.
